No, I think you can pass through the transit area without a visa. Actually, AirAsia is a point-to-point carrier, so they may ask you to pass through the immigration also at Bangkok Airport. In this case, you have to ask for a visa-on-arrival. It was happened with me at Bangkok Suvarnbhumi Airport. Don&#039;t know the procedures at Don Muang Airport. However, during my recent trip to Malaysia by AirAsia, I passed through the transit area to catch the next flight without any visa. So, I hope, in Bangkok also, you can pass through the transit area.]]></description>
