Red Bull X-Figthers Jams was a thrilling, mind-blowing events held at Rajpath near India Gate in New Delhi. There was a huge crowd to witness this heart-stopping freestyle motocross event at the one of the most iconic structure of India. And whoever was there will never forget this biggest shot of adrenaline in near future. This event was not the part of the actual Red Bull X-Fighters World Series that is hosted across the continents in the cities like Sydney, Dubai, Istanbul, Moscow, Madrid etc. But the way people turned up on this spectacular event may force Red Bull to consider New Delhi as one of the destination of the world series.
Red Bull X-Fighters are freestyle motocross (FMX) motorbike stunt competitions contested in bullrings and similar venues.Created back in 2001, the Red Bull X-Fighters concept has become the biggest and the most respected freestyle motocross tour on the planet, featuring the world’s best riders throwing down mad tricks in stunning locations across the globe.
FMX stars Nick Franklin, Nick DeWit, Gilles Dejong and Martin Koren had the Delhi crowd eating out of their hands as they showcased their skills in a high-octane 45-minute display that no one would forget easily.
In the beginning of the event, there was a performance by Bhangra (Folk Dance from Punjab) Troupe to showcase the spirit of India at India Gate. After that a 15-minute breathtaking performance was given by Red bull X-Fighters.
What followed was the appearance of Punjabi rapper Honey Singh on Rajpath. A special guest of the event was Colonel Satyendra Verma, an adventure enthusiast and expert in hand-gliding, paragliding, hot air ballooning, skydiving and base jumping, who has been part of over 1,100 free fall jumps and performed base jump from KL Tower in Kuala Lampur and Pitampura TV Tower in New Delhi.
Finally, Red-Bull X Fighters again showed their skills for next 20 minutes at the event and the event concluded after that.
Speed, Thrill, Airborne Machines, Perfect Timings, Superb Riders and Wild Crowd—this was an evening to watch out at India Gate.
